Stevie Silver – Juke Box Baby
With "Juke Box Baby" Stevie Silver's second CD, I see a great amount of growth as an artist. From the guitar playing to the songwriting an vocals Stevie has worked hard to create a great blues album for your enjoyment. Altogether, this is an impressive set of Blues music peppered with a few nods to early Rock and Roll and R&B demonstrating the talents of Stevie as a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. I think the joy we had making it comes through strongly and will inspire repeated listening.
Enjoy!!
Duke Robillard
After having spent more than twenty years playing with some of Boston's best local blues bands and studying directly with blues greats Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard and Joe Bonamassa, Stevie releases his second CD-Juke Box Baby with four new, original tunes-The Money's All Gone, inspired by Buddy Guy, Taking That Midnight Train-a tribute to B.B. King,Taking My Time-reminiscent of early Stax recordings, and Juke Box Baby-a tip of the hat to Chuck Berry. Produced by Grammy award nominee Duke Robillard, with Duke adding his guitar talents to several tracks and Sunny Crownover adding her wonderful vocals to Ray Charles' Drown In My Own Tears, Stevie stretches himself to the limit to bring you his best yet.
